Wexler, ASC Haskell Wexler, ASC earned an Academy Award® for Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? in 1967. He earned another Oscar ® in 1976 for One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. He also earned nominations for Bound for Glory (1976), Matewan (1987) and Blaze (1989). Wexler's memorable film credits include In the Heat of the Night, The Thomas Crown Affair, Medium Cool, Coming Home, Three Fugitives, The Secret of Roan Inish, Silver City and the documentaries Interviews with My Lai Veterans, Introduction to the Enemy, and At The Max. Wexler has also directed, written and produced films, including Latino and Medium Cool. He is currently putting finishing touches on a documentary that focuses on how outrageously long hours in the motion picture and other industries affect the health, safety and well being of workers. |
