600 Member Wins Deffie Award

Assistant James Matlosz earned the top cinematography honor at the award ceremony for the HDFEST 2004 Deffie Awards in New York on Dec. 4. He claimed a Deffie for Best Cinematography in a High-Def Short for his work on Oedipus.

"Oedipus was truly a rewarding experience for me as a cinematographer - one of the most rewarding shows creatively that I have worked on," Matlosz noted in his acceptance speech. "I'd like to thank my wife for giving me the time to work on this show for 10 months with no pay."
