Local 600 members and repeat nominees made up the list of nominees for the three TV categories in the 19th annual ASC Outstanding Achievement Awards. The awards will be presented Feb. 13 at the Grand Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland.

Nine-time nominee – and four-time winner – Tom Del Ruth, topped the list of nominees in the episodic category [Union members listed in bold]:

  • David Boyd – Deadwood, "Deep Water" (HBO)
  • Thomas Del Ruth – The West Wing, "Gaza" (NBC)
  • Nathan Hope – CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, "Down the Drain" (CBS)
  • Chris Manley – CSI: NY, "A Man for a Mile" (CBS)
  • Alik Sakharov – The Sopranos, "Long Term Parking" (HBO)

The nomination is Manley’s second. Boyd, Hope and Sakharov each earned their first recognition in the category.

Four-time nominee Jonathan Freeman headed the nominees in the movie/miniseries/pilot for broadcast television category [Union members listed in bold]:

  • Larry Fong – Lost Pilot (ABC)
  • Jonathan Freeman – Homeland Security (NBC)
  • Michael Goi – Judas (ABC)
  • Clark Mathis – Medical Investigation Pilot (NBC)
  • Kramer Morgenthau – Mitch Albom's The Five People You Meet in Heaven (ABC)

Goi and Mathis claimed their second nominations, while Fong and Morganthau marked their first nominations.

Another four-time nominee, Kees Van Oostrum, lead the pack in the movie/
miniseries/pilot for basic or pay television category [Union members listed in bold]:

  • Alan Caso – Frankenstein Pilot (Hallmark)
  • Robbie Greenberg – Iron Jawed Angels (HBO)
  • Peter Levy – The Life and Death of Peter Sellers (HBO)
  • Ben Nott – Salem's Lot (TNT)
  • Kees Van Oostrum – Spartacus (USA)

Greenberg – who's won two ASC awards – captured his third nomination, while Caso and Levy received their second nominations.
