2008 ICG Publicists Awards Schedule

The ICG Publicists Awards, begun in 1964, honor excellence in publicity and promotion for motion pictures and television programs and spotlight the work of union publicists. Recipients are selected in several different categories and are voted on by their peers in Local 600. No other event celebrates the importance of publicists’ contribution to the entertainment industry.

The following is the 2007 ICG Publicists Awards timeline:

November 6: First Ballot Mailed to all active Publicists

December 6: First Ballot Due 5:30 PM

December 19: TV Campaign Presentations and Selection

January 7: Motion Picture Campaign Presentations and Selection

January 9 Second Ballot Mailed to all active Publicists

January 18: Second Ballot Due 12:00 PM

February 5: Publicists Awards Luncheon at The Beverly Hilton 2008 Publicists Awards Luncheon
