Union Members Have Chance to Help Choose Questions for Aug. 7 Presidential Forum

Forum Will be Broadcast Nationwide on MSNBC

Will the next president fight for the concerns of the middle class? Will the next president be accountable to America’s workers, not corporate donors? Will the next president offer rhetoric and photo ops or real policy changes to increase opportunity and security for ordinary people?
Here’s your chance to find out.

The AFL-CIO Presidential Candidates Forum Contest is an opportunity for workers to speak directly to the candidates hoping to be the next president. Tell the AFL-CIO what you’d like to know about the candidates, and your question could be asked at the AFL-CIO Presidential Candidates Forum in Chicago on Aug. 7.

What questions will the moderator ask? That’s up to you! In addition to submitting your own question, you’ll be able to vote on which questions you think we need to ask. While only union members are eligible to submit questions and win, anyone can vote. The questions that get the most votes will be given to our moderator to ask the presidential candidates.
